HealthNet of Rock County is currently providing the COVID-19 vaccine and boosters to eligible Rock County residents on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the morning.

Is the COVID-19 Vaccine effective?

COVID-19 vaccines are effective and can lower your risk of getting and spreading the virus that causes COVID-19. Vaccines also help prevent serious illness and death in children and adults even if they do get COVID-19.

I'm not a U.S. Citizen. Can I still get the COVID-19 Vaccine?

Yes. The COVID-19 Vaccine is available to everyone, regardless of citizenship or immigration status. Receiving the Vaccine will not affect one’s immigration status. 

When am I eligible to receive the booster shot?

HealthNet of Rock County follows CDC guidelines for administering the  vaccine to eligible individuals.

For the Moderna vaccine, you are eligible for a booster if:

  • You are 18 years of age or older

AND

  • It has been 5 months since your 2nd dose of the Moderna vaccine (3 months if you are immunocompromised)
